The Server plays a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth dining experience in a bustling ramen shop environment. They are responsible for taking orders, serving ramen bowls and beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
Note: The job may involve standing for extended periods, lifting trays of food and beverages, and working in a lively and energetic ramen shop atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities

Welcome and seat guests promptly, providing menus and answering any initial questions about the menu or specials.

Take accurate food and drink orders, including customizations or dietary preferences, and enter them into the POS system efficiently.

Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of ramen bowls, appetizers, and beverages.

Serve ramen bowls with attention to detail, ensuring correct presentation and garnishes according to shop standards.

Check in with guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction, refill drinks, and address any additional needs or requests.

Process payments accurately, handle cash and card transactions, and maintain a tidy cashier area.

Collaborate with kitchen and serving team members to maintain a smooth flow of service and uphold quality standards.

Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area, including clearing tables and resetting them for new guests.
Qualifications

Previous experience as a server in a restaurant, preferably with exposure to Japanese cuisine or ramen concepts.

Strong customer service skills, with a friendly and attentive demeanor.

Knowledge of basic food and beverage service principles, including handling orders, suggestive selling, and maintaining cleanliness.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and multitask effectively.
